Our bi-annual Internship Programme in Sales & Operations is targeted at enthusiastic students or recent graduates who want to play an active role in a fast-growing start-up and look for an opportunity to learn and grow while also having fun!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Join one of our 6 language teams (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or English) and take on responsibilities from day one
- After completing the onboarding training, you specialize in either Sales or Operations:
Sales:
- Find the perfect offer for customers (surfing, scuba diving, boat tours, paragliding, rafting, ski lessons, ski rental, etc.) to best meet their needs & book with them
- Serve as the expert in your market, who offers helpful and accurate advice on all our products
- Provide customers with an exceptional booking experience at all times
Operations:
- Manage and monitor the activity bookings in your respective market (DACH, France, Italy or Spain)
- Be in close contact with our activity providers and customers to provide assistance with their bookings
- Proactively handle cases that require your attention from start to finish
- You are the voice of CheckYeti and communicate with both customers and outdoor activity providers/ski schools via phone, chat and email
- You build strong relationships with our international partners and customers to craft and ensure unforgettable experiences
- You work closely with the other teams, especially the Business Development and Content Team, to find and implement creative solutions, prioritize tasks and achieve common milestones
- You are a current student or graduate in a social science or business-related field (Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Communication, Business Administration, Economics etc.) or a top talent from a different sector
- You are fluent in English and/or native in one of our core languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch
- You are a true team player, eager to learn from your colleagues and open to give and receive feedback
- You enjoy new challenges, making things happen and have a can-do attitude
- You are flexible, able to quickly adapt to changes and are keen to work in a dynamic start-up
- You share our passion for outdoor sports and/or the travel industry
- Previous experience in tourism, service, sales or start-ups is a plus
- A 3-module onboarding training in both Sales and Operations that gives you the opportunity to find out where your strengths lie
- Coaching sessions from experienced team leads as well as focus sessions with the co-founders and department heads on how to start and manage a fast-growing online business
