The Candidate must be highly skilled and experienced Engineer to oversee the installation and implementation of an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system in a rail project. The Engineer will be responsible for supervising the installation process, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with technical specifications. The successful candidate must have a strong background in engineering, experience in implementing AFC systems.
1. Supervise the contractor for the installation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system in the Monorail project, ensuring compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and technical specifications.
2. Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and subcontractors involved in the installation process, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
3. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of installation activities, identify any potential issues.
4. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts related to the AFC system installation, and provide technical guidance and expertise to the installation team.
5. Perform regular quality control checks to ensure that the installation is carried out according to industry standards and project requirements.
6. Participate in Testing and Commissioning of AFC System.
7. Provide regular progress reports and updates to project management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and deviations from the original plan.
1. Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Experience in overseeing the installation, Testing and Commissioning of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems in rail or transportation projects.
3. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, AFC technologies, and related software systems.
4. Experience in coordinating and managing contractors and subcontractors on construction sites.
5. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts related to AFC systems.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
