The role
We are looking to appoint a Sustainability & Energy Consultant to support the Sustainability & Energy team to provide consultancy services, especially in relation to Sustainability building energy certification, climate change or carbon management.
You will join a team that has established a reputation for supporting both Spanish and international projects. We provide advice, design and planning support to major clients in the building sector in Spain and around the world. The team is growing and looking for the right candidate to support the delivery of a wide range of sustainability building projects as we support our clients to meet their sustainability objectives and our own commitments to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Minimum requirements
Studies in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar studies
Master in Sustainability would be valuable
4-6 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities
Experience in leading projects involving building sustainability certification appraisals (BREEAM, LEED), carbon footprints, building energy audits, carbon management services, climate change assessments, the net zero transitions (embodied or net zero operational buildings), or related services
Experience in the use of energy modelling of buildings using specialized software
Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings
A very high level of English (fluent in both written and spoken English)
Knowledge of building services (especially mechanical / air-conditioning services) would be an advantage
