L - Brand Manager (Sports Brand)[Based In SG] [Malaysia]

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the respective brands by providing the right products and services that meet with the market requirements, and lead the team to achieve KPI targets (Net Sales, Margin %, Inventory, Growth %, Shipment Flow)

Job Scope:

· Developing and executing M-Plan/OTB budget in line with the company business target, including planning the product buying every season with merchandising team, reviewing the plan with the Merchandise Planner to get the management’s approval, placing orders, doing do periodic forecasting & updates

· Managing Category assortment with each Category-in-charge, Managing/Review Price & Margin structure, Distribution, and Allocation plan.

· Maintain and Manage business relationships with Principal. Communicating, coordinating & collaborating in the scope of Brand & Product performance, from buying/order selection to delivering and marketing/selling in the country on regular basis to meet expectations and mutual targets.

· Proposing Markdown in monthly by evaluating whether each product is selling or not. For those that aren’t selling well, we need to flush them by proposing MD% according to their ST % and Inventory Age.

· Do analysis on sales, markdown, sell through %, market trends, competitive landscape, economic condition, competitor, and customer insight.

· Daily/weekly manage and monitor Sales Performance, Stock, Allocation Plan, Inventory Level, and Incoming Goods and take action when needed.

· M-Plan and Markdown review to control future buying, and margin, and ensure sales achievement (monthly)

· Evaluating/monitoring implementation of existing plans according to the current state of business, and adapting/adjusting/re-forecast in-season or future planning as needed in order to achieve an optimum result

· Reviewing & providing reports and analysis for both internal and external (principal)in order to ensure that we have the right product and the right price for the consumer – pricing activities, OTB, yearly marketing plan, M-planning

· Working closely with another related department (marketing, visual merchandising, operation) for better coordination & arrangements.

· Managing Wholesale business/ E-commerce as necessary (wherever brand is applicable)

Financial and Non-Financial Measures:

Financial :

- Net Sales

- Margin %

- Growth % LFL & Total

- Inventory Level & Incoming Goods

- Regularity of Shipment Flow

- EBITDA

- Right products are available for customers in the right value, right location, and right time

Non-Financial:

· Good communication and relationships with Principals of the assigned brands

· Information are processed and shared accurately by and among the Team, in the proper template/format as provided/developed by each related departement

· Weekly/Monthly and any Internal/External Reports are used properly, submitted correctly and in a timely manner

· Brand awareness is maintained/developed according to Brand/Company direction

· Stores offline/online are displaying/selling products according to Brand guidance

Key Relationships:

Internal:

· Business Analyst/ R&A to get the data of sales, stock, aging, store performance, best sellers by weekly and monthly

· Merchandise Planner to review buying plan, monthly buying, rolling forecast, weekly review by weekly and monthly

· Supply Chain Management to monitor regular in-flow of products according to shipment timeline, and to allocate products to stores in the correct quantity & distribution as planned and in a timely manner

· Marketing team to coordinate marketing activities, promotions

· E-Commerce to explore digital platform as another channel to increase sales and create strong brand presence

· Finance to coordinate the payment for merchandise purchased and sales report to brand principals

· Wholesale to explore additional sales opportunity through Wholesale affiliates (institutions, traditional markets, special-bulk-purchase etc.)

· Store operation to ensure the corrective action on store visit results

· Project & Development to coordinate the brand fixtures order.

· COE, R&A to process, review, and implement pricing structure, aging, markdown, and to study/analyze data provided through R&A reporting tools

External:

· Brand principals for daily communications as well as attending sales meeting, submitting buying forecast, placing orders, reviewing business plan, analyzing the sales, and to renew the distribution agreement when required.
